High quality software development services provider Allstate Northern Ireland is looking to improve recruitment efficiencies and services to employees with a new human resources solution from Access. SelectHR will replace several disparate systems as Allstate NI centralises its information and looks to automate processes across the organisation.
Jim Norris, senior HR manager at Allstate NI, said, “Our existing system had come to the end of its life and we wanted an enterprise HR solution to cover a wide range of needs. We wanted to bring everything together to replace what we already had and integrate with our existing systems, SelectHR offered all of this as well as the opportunity to replace many of our manual processes.”
Allstate NI’s recruitment processes are going to be revamped with a move online using SelectHR’s rEcruit module. “By moving our recruitment online we’ll be reducing a great deal of paperwork while increasing the traceability and placement of applicants,” continued Jim. “It’s going to be a lot easier to assess a candidates suitability for a particular role and we’ll also receive more applicants as it’ll be a lot easier to apply online via our website.”
Self-service will be rolled out to all 2000 employees of Allstate NI allowing them to update personal data, make holiday requests, enter sick leave, and manage and view flexible working benefits. Jim said “We had many forms and manual processes that will now be automated as part of the new solution. Everything is going to be joined up and one action will update multiple fields saving a lot of duplication of effort.”
The team at Allstate NI are also looking forward to improved reporting “We’ll be using SelectHR to report on absence, recruitment, joiners and leavers. It will have a positive impact on our decision making, and we’ll be able to make changes that reflect the businesses requirements,” concluded Jim.
