Public invited to submit views on EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking the views of the public on how the Agency should prioritise activities over the next number of years to protect and improve Ireland’s environment.

The public consultation process offers interested parties the opportunity to submit suggestions on the EPA’s fourth formal strategy before publication later this year. The EPA’s previous strategy 2020 Vision, outlined six broad environmental goals. The draft EPA Strategic Plan is available on the EPA website. Those wishing to make suggestions are encouraged to do so by visiting the EPA’s website and using the on-line facility. They can also be emailed to strategy@epa.ie. Deadline in November 9.
