Leitrim deaths - December 16, 2016 - Evening update

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Margaret Martin (née Gallagher), Drumarigna, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Aughawillan arriving at 6.30pm this evening. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Bridie McBrien (née Cahill), Kilcogy Upper, Kilcogy, Co Cavan / Co Longford

Bridie died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, sister Mary and brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neices, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home until removal this evening, Friday, arriving our Lady of Lourdes Church Mullahoran at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Please note, family time on Friday evening from 3pm.

 

Lorcán Coyle, Dublin and Camagh, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

Lorcan Coyle (Mac Cumhaill) of Dusseldorf, Breuilles de Bernay, St Martin and originally from Camagh, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim. Died unexpectedly in the University Clinic in Düsseldorf on November 27, 2016. Funeral Mass at 10am on Saturday, December 17 in the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny Village, with burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.

 

John McCabe, Drumbore, Cloone, Co Leitrim

The death has occurred of John McCabe, Drumbore, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, today December 14 peacefully at Arus Carolan, Nursing Home Mohill. Predeceased by his brother Bernie, sisters; Mary Kate, Maggie, Sarah Ann and Bridget. Sadly missed by his sister Tess, brother Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Remains reposing at Arus Carolan, Nursing Home, Mohill on Friday from 4pm - 6pm with removal to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Cloone at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards to the local cemetery.

 

Christy Oates, Dangan, Kilmore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon

Suddenly at his home. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Tighe (Cloonloo) and Phyllis Gilhooley (Ballymote), brother Tommy (Marino), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin, today, Friday  from 5.30pm with Removal at 6.30pm to St. Brigid's Church, Dangan arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, December 17 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilmore Cemetery.
