The FAI with Leitrim County Council is delighted to announce that the Aviva Soccer Sisters are back for the third camp in two years in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The aim of the camps, run by the FAI and Leitrim County Council, is to help coach and develop girls soccer in Leitrim, the rules are simple, the game is fun and how good a player you could be will depend on how much you practice. But remember, one session with a qualified coach will put you on the right track!

Soccer Sisters is an FAI programme under the “Introduction to Football” banner, with the aim of increasing the number of girls playing soccer. Played at venues nationwide, the girls’ only camps, which are now in their fourth year, cater for 7-12 year olds with the aim of increasing the number of girls playing football and to improve their skills in a fun, structured and a safe coaching environment.

As the camps will be girls only, it will give the participants an opportunity to participate amongst their peers.
