Carrick 400 GAA Football Sevens Tournament

To celebrate the 400th birthday of the founding of the town of Carrick-On-Shannon, St. Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA, in association with the Gathering Ireland and main sponsor E-Mobile, is hosting one of the biggest sevens GAA Tournaments ever to take place in the west of Ireland.

To celebrate the 400th birthday of the founding of the town of Carrick-On-Shannon, St. Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA, in association with the Gathering Ireland and main sponsor E-Mobile, is hosting one of the biggest sevens GAA Tournaments ever to take place in the west of Ireland.

On the Saturday, April 6, over 40 Mens and Ladies teams from all over Ireland, including Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Cavan, Monaghan, Galway, will take part in the first seven tournament of it’s type to be held in Leitrim.

The four team group stages will begin at 10am at venues around Carrick-on-Shannon with the Mens and Womens knockout stages begining at 2.00 in Pairc Sean and Pairc Naoimh Mhuire.

The Women’s Final will take place at 4.15 in Park Sean with the men’s final immediately after it at 4.50. It will be a huge weekend for the Town of Carrick and a great time will be had by all who attend.
