Lough Key Triathlon Club would like to thank all the Marshals who helped make our recent annual club triathlon on September 8, a huge success.
Ballinamore Golf club
Captains Prize: Last Sunday we welcomed the Mohill district society to our club for Ollie Gilhooleys captains prize. It was a windy day but the rain held off for the most of the day. Well done to the winner, William Harte and to John Joe Holohan who won the visitors prize. John Joe can’t stop winning. On behalf of Ballinamore Golf club we thank the society for choosing to play in Ballinamore and we welcome them back at any stage next year. Well done also to Tanya and Ria who cooked the food and worked effortlessly behind the bar.
18 Hole Stroke: There is a 18 hole Stroke Open competition running throughout this week. Weather has been poor but course holding up well.
18 hole stableford: Winner of last week’s competition was Paddy Leddy with a fine score of 41 points, second was Gerry Butler with 38 points and way back on 32 points was Frank Mulvey in thrid, well done to all and its great to see Paddy playing so well and to Ollie Moran who has now cut Paddy to 15.
Well done: On behalf of the mens club we would like to extend our congrats to Breda and Brid who won the All-Ireland, Irish Daily Mail Foursomes last Monday, September 9.
Chill Insurance Cards: The draw for a chance to win money off your next car insurance with chill insurance has been put back to Sunday, October 13 (final of evening scrambles). Please support the club with this draw. €2 per line or 3 for €5.

St. Mary’s Kiltoghert
U8 & U10 Blitz: There is an blitz in Mohill on Saturday, meet at Pairc Naomh Muire at 9.15 am, kids to bring drink and small snack as each team will have three games. U6 training as normal.
Congratulations: to Ciaran, Pat, Aisling and the ladies team on winning their League Final against St. Francis on Friday last under lights in Kiltubrid. Also congratulations to our Minor girls team who won their semi final Monday night, their final is on next Saturday at 4.30 pm before the Senior Ladies County Final, so please come out and show your support. Best wishes to Cait McWeeney as she heads off on her travels to the USA.
Congratulations: Well done to our Junior A team who won their semi final on Saturday against Dromahair. Hard luck to our Junior B Team who were beaten by Aughavas in their semi final.
