Community Games in Croghan Drumlion Cortober is in danger of disbanding due to lack of interest of parents in the area.

The AGM of the Croghan Drumlion Cortober Community Games was held on September 26, in Croghan School. Only six people attended the AGM, five of which were serving officers of the committee. Following completion of the officers reports the chairperson, secretary and treasurer resigned from their positions. As there was not enough members present at the meeting to elect new officers it was decided to end the AGM.

Notice is herby given that there will be an EGM of the Croghan Drumlion Cortober Community Games on October 10, in Croghan School at 8:30pm. At this meeting a new Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer will be elected.

The children in the area benefit greatly from the efforts of the committee by taking part in all sorts of activities within the area and county. If you want your child to continue to enjoy these activities and meet new friends it is down to you as a parent to come along to the meeting and help to set up a new committee.

If there are not enough members present at the meeting to do this we will be left with no alternative but to disband the community games in this area. We have to register the local community games with the county committee before the end of October so time is not on our side.

If you care about continuing the community games in this area please attend the EGM on October 10.
