The very popular Classic cinema screenings continue at The Dock with To Kill a Mockingbird on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11.30am.
The Academy Award winning adaptation of Haper Lee’s acclaimed novel, stars Gregory Peck in his defining role as the wise and just small-town lawyer and father Atticus Finch. Set in 1930’s Alabama the tale is interwoven around his children Jem and Scout and their active imaginations, captured by tales of their reclusive neighbour, Boo Radley (Robert Duvall). This insightful and touching film provides an excellent overview of the social climate at this time.
The film will be screened at 11.30am and tickets are €5 including tea / coffee on arrival.
