Health and Wellbeing evening

Connacht Gold and the National Dairy Council (NDC) are encouraging everyone to look after their physical and mental health and general wellbeing this winter, and will once again host the hugely popular Health and Wellbeing Evening on Thursday, 29th November 2012 at the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.

Connacht Gold and the National Dairy Council (NDC) are encouraging everyone to look after their physical and mental health and general wellbeing this winter, and will once again host the hugely popular Health and Wellbeing Evening on Thursday, 29th November 2012 at the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.

More than 300 people are expected to attend, the event which is free of charge and will be compèred by TV3 Ireland AM presenter, Aidan Cooney. Doors will open at 7.30pm with presentations beginning at 8pm.

Expert speakers will include nutritionist and TV personality Paula Mee, who will discuss the benefits of dairy in your diet, psychologist Dr. Tony Bates will give a talk entitled ‘Keeping the Best Side Out’; and TV3 celebrity chef Joe Shannon, will give a cookery demonstration.

A short reception will precede the presentations and there will be an exclusive gift bag for all who attend. A raffle to win a dinner party for ten guests in your home will also be held on the night with all proceeds going to Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin.
