Swimming lessons

Swimming lessons

Adults one to one and children’s group and one to one swimming lessons commencing in the Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo.

Children’s group lessons take place on a Tuesday evening and Saturday morning, €60 for 6 weeks, 8 children per class, 45 minutes per class. Adults and children’s one to one take place on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evening, €110 for 6 weeks, 45 minute classes. Discount for more than 2 children per family.

Daffodil Day success

Daffodil Day was a huge success in our area and on behalf of the hospice we would like to thank all who supported our collection on the day. Thanks to all those who donated fresh daffodils and thanks also to all who gave their time and helped out on a very cold day, it was greatly appreciated.

GAA

Kiltubrid GAA held their annual party in Cardiff’s Lounge, Drumcong on Sunday night, March 31st with food, music and dancing. Raffle with spot prizes followed.

The annual awards for the past year were presented on the night.

Senior Player of the Year - Emmett Lee. Junior ‘A’ Player of the Year - Conor Doherty. Junior ‘C’ Player of the Year - Stephen McKeon. Club Person of the Year - Patricia Lee.

Thanks to all who attended, donated prizes and supported their local club. Special thanks to the Cardiff family for their work and dedication on the occasion.

Easter Egg

Orla McWeeney, Aghacashel, won the Easter Egg Draw for the Irish Wheelchair Association, Carrick-on-Shannon branch at Lee’s Shop last Sunday. Thanks to all who contributed to this very worthy cause (€112).

Birthday

Congratulations to Martin Moran, Rantogue, Aghacashel on his 40th birthday celebrations. Martin, his wife Sandra, daughter Amy, family, friends and neighbours celebrated the occasion with a party in the Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo last weekend.

Births

Congratulations to Sandra Keaney and partner Alex on the birth of their baby boy Jake, a grandson for Debbie and Pat, Aghacashel.

Congrats to Linda and Peter Halstead, Drumracken, Aghacashel on the birth of their son, a brother for his three sisters.
