Fun Run/Walk

Leitrim Association of People with Disabilities memorial event in memory of the late Howard Cusack and Sr. Emmanuel Farrelly 5K Walk and 2K Fun Run, Walk and Roll. Sunday, May 26th at 12.30pm setting off from LAPWD Centre, Station Road, Mohill. The event will be launched by Alan Devine (Louie) Fair City and dramaclub.ie and Andy McGovern, Author of “Against the Odds”. Entry fee €10, families €20 everybody of ages welcome. Medal for everyone completing the route along with spot prizes and refreshments. For more information contact the office on 071 9651000.

Film Hour in Library

On Tuesday 28th May at 7.30pm as part of its season of films, Ballinamore Library will show “The Life of Pi” This academy award winning film should be of interest to both young and old. Remember admission to the film is free and all are welcome. So go along sit back and relax while watching this lovely film on big screen

First Communion

Congratulations to Caoimhe Cullen,Eimear Murphy, Ellie Mahon, Hailey Moran, Jessica Mulvey, Kayleigh Hudson, Daire McTeigue, Fergal Flynn, Owen Reynolds, Thomas Cull and Tommy Reilly who had a lovely First Communion on Sunday last.

May run walk roll

The annual may run walk or roll in aid of Cancer Research/North West Hospice will take place on Sunday, May 26th starting from Aughnasheelin Community Centre at 1 p.m. Entry fee €10. Sponsorship cards on request - contact Cáit at 087 2123703. Join the walk and you will not only support a good cause but you will also bring your friends and families together for a great fun afternoon. Last year over €10,000 was raised for Cancer research and this year we would gope to exceed that for these two very worthy causes. If you can’t walk you can stil help out with stewarding, refreshments, registration, etc, or you can donate on MyCharity.ie. If you’re donating but not walking why not join us for refreshments in the Community Centre following the event.

Keep her Fit

Keep her Fit is getting close, Thursday morning the 23rd of May at 8am. Michelle Fanning of Assorted Fitness will be having a Breakfast with Hector aerobic gathering in Ballinamore hall as part of Ireland’s biggest simultaneous aerobics class. Michelle was on Breakfast with Hector last Tuesday talking about it. Also our new 6 week programme of fitness classes is starting this week and we welcome all new participants for any further information or a class timetable contact Michelle on 087 9390980.
