Grease as Gaeilge Not to be missed! For two nights only: Gaelscoil Chluainín presents its musical “Grease as Gaeilge”, a very ambitious production and the first of its kind in this part of the country. The cast includes 61 children from all areas of North Leitrim age from 6-12 years.

This is a culmination of the electric mix of talents amidst parents and staff, graphic designers, artists, musicians, sculptors and stylists, which combined with, the wonderful acting ability of the children guarantees a great nights entertainment. Blotto Draw

Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns Blotto Draw took place on Saturday night the 18th of May in The Club House Bar. The five numbers drawn were 05, 11, 17 and 24. The Jackpot of €2,500 was not won.

The five winners of €30 were Gerry Toolan, Coothall, Daniel O’Connor, Ballinagar, Ailish Hackett, Church Road, Vincent McMorrow, Carrowcrin, Tanya McGolderick, Friarstown.

The next Draw will take place in The Blue Devon on the 1st of June 2013. The Jackpot will be €2,600. Tickets available in all local businesses so why not try your luck.

Dromahair Clean-up

We have having a clean up of the Village of Dromahair on Saturday the 25th of May. We are meeting at The Depot at 10.30am. Please come along for a couple of hours to help us clean up our village for both residents and visitors.

Garda Services

Garda Services for the Dromahair area are available in The Depot Community Centre (upstairs), Backline, Dromahair every Monday from 4p.m. to 5p.m. This will include any forms, passports which need signing or any other service you require. The Depot Office

The Depot Community Centre Office is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.45a.m. to 1.30p.m. Services available are typing, photocopying (black & white or colour), faxing, and Internet access. ‘Bloom’ Flower Show

Day Trip on Saturday - June 1st (Phoenix Park). Bus leaving Dromahair at 8.00am (sharp) & Ballinagar at 8.15am (sharp) via Drumkeerin. Limited number of seats still available. Celebrating the Year of the Faith

To celebrate the Year of Faith, The Parish of Killenummery and Killery is hosting a Vision Week in May 2013. Each evening from Monday 20th of May to Saturday 25th of May at 7.30p.m. people are invited to gather for a time of prayer and to hear a different guest speaker. Wednesday 22nd May 2013 St. Michaels Killavoggy. Prayer service and Veneration of the Relics of St. Padro Pio.

Guest Speakers: Sean and Ann Mulrine. Thursday 23rd May St. Michael’s Killavoggy. Mass Guest Speaker: Tommy Gorman, RTE’s Chief Correspondent.

Blessing of the Graves

The Blessing of the Graves in Killenummery Old Church Yard will take place on Sunday the 7th of July 2013 at 2p.m.

Appeal for plants

It is coming up to Tidy Towns time of the year again. Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns urgently need and would greatly appreciate any donation of flowers or shrubs which you might have to give to us.

This will help in keeping our village looking lovely for both visitors and residents alike. Please drop any donations which you might have into The Depot or telephone 07191 34986.
