Bingo

Bingo continues in the centre Drumsna on Thursday night at 9pm. Last week’s winners included Liz Hughes, Geraldine Bohan, raffle, Mary Geheran , Martina Mc Garry , Rose Mulvihill. Free books Jimmy Bohan, Majella Reynolds.

North West Hospice

There will be a fundraiser with Cruises on Moon River in aid of the North West Hospice on Sunday, May 26th at 1pm with Fergus Harman and friends, 2 15pm with Fergal Harman and Gerard Dots, 3.30pm.with wallop the spot 4.45pm with Rakish. Spot prizes on every trip. Fee €12 per adult €3 per child on a first come first served basis. Come along and support a great cause while having a great time.

Drumsna Family and Vintage Day

An important meeting regarding the holding of the Drumsna Vintage and Family Day will be held in the Centre, Drumsna at 8pm on tonight Wednesday, May 22nd. It is hoped that anyone willing to help out before hand and on the day will attend so that this annual event can continue.

Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the Gill families of Dublin and Leitrim on the untimely death of young James Gill. James lost his brave battle with cancer on Saturday morning last and will be sadly missed by his mother Geraldine, father Declan, brothers, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Sympathy is also extended to Siobhan and Kevin McKenna and family, Jamestown on the death of Siobhan’s father Andy Lavin, Ballyfarnon after a short illness.

Sympathy also to the friends and relatives of Father Michael Killian who was C.C. here in Annaduff for a number of years. Fr Killian was interred in Drumcong on Monday last.

May their souls rest in Peace. Amen.

Rosary Rally

The all Ireland Rosary Rally takes place at Knock Shrine on Saturday, June 1st. Schedule, 2pm Stations of the Cross; 3pm Celebration of the Eucharist ( Basilica ) and anointing of the sick, Main Celebrant Fr. Michael Fitzgerald P.P. Mitchelstown. Homilist Fr. Richard Gibbons P.P. Knock Shrine. After the homily Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary takes place. Music by Achonry Choir. Conclusion Eucharistic Healing Blessing. Annaduff Parish Gathering

Annaduff Parish Gathering takes place on the 26th, 27th, 28th of July, please make sure all Annaduff people all over the world know about this special time and remember that the Parish goes from Dromod to Drumsna to Lisduff and beyond.

G.A.A./Parish Lotto

There was no winner of the G.A.A./parish Lotto held in Cox’s Steakhouse, Dromod on Sunday night last . The numbers drawn were 3, 8, 13, 14. The winner of the €50 prize was Alan Cox, Corduff, the winners of the lucky dip are as follows: Alan Rowley, Drumcree, Rian Ward, Gortinty, Jason Ward, Derrbrack, Gary Faughnan, Aughamore. The next draw is in Duignan’s, Drumsna on Sunday night, June 2nd with a jackpot of €4,600.

Niall Mellon Trust Walk

There will be a walk commencing at Annaduff N.S. on Friday, 31st May at 8 p.m. in aid of Gerry Quinlan, Carrick-on-Shannon who is travelling to Kenya on a building project next October. There will be refreshments afterwards. If you have any old clean clothes, shoes, curtains, etc. Gerry will gladly receive same by leaving them into St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
