Sheemore Walk

Following a cold and chilly walk on Sheemore on St Patrick’s morning a total of €350 has been raised. Thanks to everyone who supported the event. All monies that were raised are in aid of Cancer Care West. Hope to see you all there again next year and a céad míle fáilte to all newcomers who wish to join us on this special day.

Cake sale

The Pioneer Asociation are having a Cake Sale on Easter Sunday, March 31st after 11:30am Mass in Rantogue and Drumcong.All cakes and goodies donated will be much appreciated.

Death

Our sympathy to Doreen Murray, Stockport, England and her son John on the death of husband Pat, formerly from Aghacashel. Also sympathy to brother Ned, sisters Mary Ann Beirne, Liscarbin, Bridie, England, family, relatives, friends and neighbours. Funeral takes place on April 3rd in England. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Kiltubrid GAA

Kiltubrid GAA Club in conjunction with the Gathering are hosting an event in Cardiff’s Lakeside Tavern, Easter Sunday at 9.30pm. Please come along for some music, food and presentation of awards. Tickets €15.00. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Soccer Sisters

Aviva Soccer Sisters Camp for girls of 7-1 2 in Carrick-on-Shannon on March 26th and 27th from 10am to 2pm in Marist Girls National School, Carrick-on-Shannon. Cost is €10 for 2 days.
