Clean Up Glenfarne

A litter clean-up of Glenfarne will take place Good Friday, 29th March, starting from The Rainbow at 9am sharp. Please bring your high visibility vests with you. The more people that come out to lend a hand, the more roads that will get cleaned. All help is much appreciated.

Glenfarne Duck Race

A Duck Race will take place in Glenfarne at 5pm on Easter Sunday, 31st March. There is €245 in prize money. This is a fundraiser for the upkeep of The Rainbow and Cullentra Centre. Your support is always appreciated.

Easter Dance

There will be an Olde Tyme and Social Dance in The Rainbow on Easter Monday, 1st April. All proceeds to Cardiac Services, Sligo General Hospital. Dancing to “Larry & Co” 9pm. Admission €7 or £5, including refreshments. All welcome.

Walking Festival in Glenfarne

The North Leitrim Glens Hill Walking Festival will take place in Glenfarne at Easter Weekend, 30th and 31st March 2013.

Bard in the Woods

“Bard in the Woods”, a group encouraging public use of Ireland’s state owned forests, will have a local walk on 7th April in Glenfarne Demesne. We combine walking with a picnic and some pauses for poetry read aloud. It’s free and all are welcome. Here are the details: Glenfarne Demesne, Sunday, April 7, 3:00pm – 5:30pm. Walk and Picnic In The Woods meet at 3:00 pm at the Lough side car park by the pier. See the Lough, sculpture, dolmen and Badger’s Holy Well. North Leitrim Camogie

Sundays at St Clare’s Primary Astroturf, Manorhamilton. U12 at 4pm, U14 at 5pm. €15 for affiliation and insurance for the year, €2 for use of Astro turf. Everyone welcome.
