Blotto Draw

The Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns Blotto Draw took place on Saturday night the 27th of April in Stanfords. The numbers drawn were 9, 11, 15 and 17. The Jackpot of €2,300 was not won and the five winners of €30.00 were Dermot McGarry, C/O Stanfords, Tony Gallagher, Ardakip, Emma Kavanagh, Killavoggy, Colm Clancy, Station Road, Leanne Kelly, Kilaleen, Dromahair. The next Blotto draw will take place in The Woodview Inn on Saturday the 4th of May, 2013. The Jackpot will be €2,400 so why not try your luck. Tickets available in all local businesses.

Garda Services

Garda Services for the Dromahair area are available in The Depot Community Centre (upstairs), Backline, Dromahair every Monday from 4p.m. to 5p.m. This will include any forms, passports which need signing or any other service you require. The Depot Community Centre Office is open every morning (except Thursday) Services available are typing, photocopying (black & white or colour), faxing, and Internet access. ‘Bloom’ Flower Show

Day Trip on Saturday - June 1st (Phoenix Park). Bus leaving Dromahair at 8.00am (sharp) & Ballinagar at 8.15am (sharp) via Drumkeerin. Limited number of seats still available. Cost €64 - includes Return bus fare, breakfast en route, entry to Bloom Flower Show and 4-course evening dinner in Carrick-on-Shannon on return. Camogaiocht na nGleannta

Set Dancing Ceili

Set Dancing Ceili will be held in Blue Devon Dromahair on Sunday 5th May. Music by Innisfree Ceili band with dancing from 4.30pm to 7.30pm Admission €10. Refreshments will be served. Proceeds of Ceili to Newtownmanor Car Park Project. A great afternoon of Music & Dancing is guaranteed.

John McKenna Second Gathering Concert

The John McKenna Second Gathering Concert in Drumkeerin Community Centre on next Sunday, May 5th commencing at 8.30pm promises to be a grat night of music, song and dance when the West London Music Group and Armagh CCE Group will bring a great night’s entertainment. Many people will recall the West London Music Group’s last visit with fondess. Once again Mary Gilhooly and family will be with them. There will also be many local artists involved and will include some young ones in music and song.
