Good luck to Alan Wynne who heads off to the Big Apple at the weekend to proudly wear the Leitrim jersey in the opening match of this year’s Connacht Championship against New York in Gaelic Park. Although Alan experienced disappointment at this stage of last year’s Championship opener against Londo, he has been selected in recent friendly matches, notably against Offaly whom Leitrim defeated and where Alan had an outstanding game. As the only Allen Gaels representative on the Leitrim squad all his friends and admirers in the area will be hoping he is selected to play and wish him every success in the quest for Provincial success in this year’s Championship.
