Well done to all the girls and boys who took part in the Primary Schools County FInal which was held in Manorhamilton last Sunday. Fenagh won the overall and Drumcong were a close seocnd. Congratulations to everyone.


Best of luck to all the Leitrim team and supporters who travel to the U.S.A. for the match next weekend. Let’s hope they will have a win and that everyone will enjoy the trip.

Table Quiz

Please support the Table Quiz in McKeon’s Lounge, Keshcarrigan on Friday, 3rd May starting 9 pm sharp. All proceeds in aid of the Astro Turf Playing Pitch which has recently opened in the village. Finger food served on the night.

Community Games

Swiming: Over thirty children from this area took part in the county final swim in the Aura at Carrick-on-Shannon on April 21. Well done to all the children who took part and best of luck to those who got through to the National Finals in Athlone at the end of May.

Athletics: Last Friday in Kiltubrid pitch, our area heats in athletics took place. Even though conditions were difficult, over seventy children attended from Ballinaglera, Drumshanbo and Kiltubrid. A big thank you to everyone who helped out to run this event to make it such a success and thanks also to Kiltubrid G.A.A for the use of the pitch. Well done to all the Toddlers and children who took part and the parents who took time out to come to the event. First and second from each event will go forward to the county final in Manorhamilton on Sunday May 19, at St Clare’s Comprehensive School. Details of time to be decided.
