Mass times

There will be Masses in Drumsna on today, Ash Wednesday, at 9am and 7pm with Blessing and distribution of Ashes. There will also be Mass in Drumsna on Thursday morning at 9pm. Mass on Friday at 7pm followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Holy hour duty Teresa Guckian, Regina McNabola. Sat evening vigil Mass in Drumsna at 7pm.

The following is a list of masses for the Parish while the renovation of St. Mary’s Church Annaduff takes place: Drumsna Mondays 7pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 9am. Friday and Saturday 7pm. Sunday 9.30am.

The 11am mass on Sunday mornings will take place in Annaduff N.S. Ministers of the Eucharist/Word course meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 20th in Drumsna Church at 8pm.

World Day of Prayer

The International and Interdenominational World day of Prayer Service takes place in The Church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna on Friday, March 1st at 8pm. There will be a reception in the Community Centre immediately afterwards. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Bingo

Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on Thursday night at 8.30pm. Last week’s winners included Anna Mc Govern Carmel O’ Dowd. Raffle Ann Marie O’Reilly, Lily Duignan, Kathleen Rynn. Free books Geraldine Monaghan, Colleen Guckian.

Golden Age meeting

Golden Age meeting in the Centre on to-day Wed Feb 13th at 11am. On the Agenda is The International World Day of prayer, the Annual Holiday arrangements, the Bealtaine Festival and we will watch the DVD of My Baby.

Fundraiser for Alzheimers

There will be a fundraiser for the Alzeimers Unit at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Carrick-on-Shannon With Eleanor Shanley and Charlie McGettigan on Sunday, February 24th at 8pm in St. Joseph’s Centre Leitrim Village. Tickets for sale at €15 in P.O. and all the local Shops. Everyone is welcome to support this worthy cause.

G.A.A./Parish Lotto

There was no winner of the G.A.A./Parish Lotto held in Taylor’s, Drumsna on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 14, 15, 18, 20. The winner of the €50 prize was David Coyle. The winners of the lucky dip are as follows: Kevin Gaffney, Niamh Costelloe, Eithne Fox, John Joe Reynolds. The next draw is in Cox’s Steak House with a jackpot of €3,900.

Operation Transformation

It is that time of year again .Lent is starting and we are all going to have great intentions, so dig out the runners and the track suit, put the word around and

organise yourselves into teams as Operation Transformation will be commencing this month. Watch this space.

Bible Study

Bible Study with Reverend Bill Atkins takes place each Tuesday during Lent in the Community Centre Drumsna From 11am until 12 noon. Commencing Tuesday, February 19th. Everyone welcome.
