The organisers of the John Murray Walk would like to offer a sincere thanks to all the people who made the event such an resounding success. To the Civil Defence, Leitrim County County, Coillte, Gardai and especially the Glenfarne community for the stewarding, catering, etc. Also the assistance of Leitrim Tourism, The Bush Hotel, Leitrim Partnership was much appreciated.

Youth consultation event

Glenfarne, Blacklion, Belcoo Youth consultation event will take place on Satruday, March 2 from 10.30am—3.30pm in the Ballroom of Romance, Glenfarne. There will be loads of, fun, games and Zumba. Lunch is provided. A bus will leave Belcoo, Cottage Meadow at 10am & Blacklion – petrol station/café 10.15am. Open to anyone from 11-18 years. Gala Meeting Tonight

There will be a Gala Festival meeting tonight Wednesday, 27th February in Cullentra Centre at 8.30pm. Everybody is welcome.

St Patrick’s Night Dance

A note for your diary: The next Olde Tyme / Social will take place on Sunday, 17th March. Dancing to “Showbud” from 9pm – 11.30pm. Everybody is welcome and your support is always appreciated.

Walking Festival in Glenfarne

The North Leitrim Glens Hill Walking Festival will take place in Glenfarne at Easter Weekend, 30th and 31st March 2013.

Kiltyclogher Drama Festival

Kiltyclogher’s 31st Drama Festival Saturday 2nd March – 9th March – 8 days of live theatre with Drama. Theatre goers are assured of a full week of first class entertainment with groups performing from Dublin, Wexford, Galway, Ballyshannon and Carrigallen. Adjudicator: Eilin O’Dea.

Cross Border Events Programme

Leitrim County Council on behalf of the County Leitrim PEACE III Partnership are inviting groups and organisations from Glenfarne, Blacklion and Belcoo areas to a meeting on Thursday 28th February 2013 in The Ballroom of Romance, Glenfarne from 7pm sharp to 9pm, to discuss support which is now available to groups and organisations from this area for the delivery of a Cross Border Events Programme 2013. If you have an idea for a events programme that would have an impact on building sustainable cross border relationships please come along.
