Masses for the week in Drumsna 7pm Monday, Friday and Saturday, 9am Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. 9.30am Sunday, with 11am Mass in Annaduff National School. There will be no Exposition on after 7pm on Friday march 1st as The International and Interdenominational world day of prayer service takes place in Drumsna at 8pm. All are welcome. There will be tea/coffee and refreshments in the Community Centre afterwards.

Golden Age meeting
Golden Age meeting takes place in The Centre Drumsna on Wednesday February 27th at 11am. On the Agenda is The World Day of Prayer Service, The Holidays and Bealtaine.

Sympathy is extended to Martin Bohan, Foxborough and Mcloughra on the death of his brother Bartley which took place in Sligo General Hospital recently. Also to his brother Jim and sisters Mary Bridie and Anna, New Haven, Conn. Bartley’s sister Anna, his nephew Kevin and niece Doreen travelled from the U.S. for the very well attended removal from St. Patrick’s Hospital to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna for his funeral Mass after which burial took place in Mohill. Bartley, an ex C.I.E. employee who was predeceased by his wife Mary some years ago, was a well liked and respected member of the community. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
Mick Hanley Concert
The long awaited Mick Hanley Concert takes place in The Community Centre, Drumsna on Saturday week March 9th at 8.30 sharp. Doors are open at 8pm and as seating is limited please be there on time if you wish to sit. There are a few tickets remaining and these can be got at the Centre or at Duignan’s Shop, Drumsna.
St. Patrick’s Day/Night
The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Traditional Mass for Deceased members of Drumsna C.C.E. takes place at the 9.30am Mass in Drumsna on Sunday 17thof March. On St. Patrick’s night the Annual C.C.E. Annual fundraiser takes place in McLoughlin’s Bar, Drumsna with a host of traditional music song and dance with local Artistes Fionnuala Maxwell, Edwina Guckian, Brian and Mary Mostyn, Clare Bohan and many more. St Patrick will also be there with a large jar of snakes and there will be a prize for whoever guesses the number. Refreshments will also be served included our traditional Leitrim ‘Boxty’.

Plans for the Gathering are shaping up nicely. Annaduff Parish will be the place to be on the last weekend of July, ie 26th 27th and 28th. commencing with a welcome home Ceili in Annaduff Community Centre on the opening night (26th) Children’s Sports on Saturday 27th (daytime) Bar-B-Que, evening also at the Annaduff Centre.
On Sunday 27th there will be special Services in St. Mary’s (hopefully) and St. Anns. Followed by walking tours of Dromod and Drumsna.
The finale will be in The Drumsna Community Centre where we will take a trip back in time to the days of our fore fathers.

Your prayers and support are requested for James Gill, son of Declan and Geraldine Gill, Dublin and grandson of P.J. and Mary Gill, Corramartin. James has been seriously ill for some time and is suffering from a rare liver disease. He has had many operations and chemotherapy sessions and must now travel to America for further treatment. This is a great opportunity for people to get fit, meet friends, get healthy and have some fun. We have a packed agenda each week for ladies and gentlemen if they wish to take part. Monday weigh-in and exercise class, Tuesday group walk, Thursday sumba, Friday ceili dancing, Sunday group walk. We will also have professional people come to give talks. You don’t have to do everything, just suit yourself. We will start on Monday, March 11th in Annaduff Community Centre.
