Mass on Thursday at 7.30 pm followed by Stations of the Cross for Lent. Vigil Mass for the Third Sunday of Lent on Saturday at 8.00 pm. Servers are Group 1 with Tommy Connolly in charge. Partially completed Charity Tax Forms for 2012 have now issued to Paye taxpayers who have reached the minimum qualifying limit of €250 and who are not registered (self or spouse) as self-employed. If you have paid Paye tax in 2012, please complete and return the forms as soon as possible. Any qualifying person who has not received a form should contact the Parish Office. St. Mary’s N.S., Drumlea Enrolment

Expo and Seminar

Leitrim County Development Board are hosting a free training and further education Expo & Seminar on Fri 8th March in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon from 10am-4.30p.m. Open to all but particularly geared to people who are unemployed and to secondary school students and parents. Recent Death

The death has taken place at the O’Carolan Nursing Home, Mohill of Mr. John Blessing, Corrala. His funeral took place on Tuesday last following Mass of the Resurrection in St. Mary’s Church, Drumlea to the adjoining cemetery. Sympathy is extended to his sisters Margaret Keery, U.S.A. and Brigid, Brin, U.S.A. cousins, brothers-in-law and

Red Cross Branch A.G.M.

The Annual General Meeting of Drumreilly Branch and Leitrim Area of the Irish Red Cross will be held on Wednesday 27th Feb at 7.30pm in Drumreilly Community Centre. All members new and old please attend.

Recent Death

The death has taken place of Mrs. Teresa Kearns nee Denneny, London and formerly Kinkeen. Sympathy is extended to her husband Thomas P. their children and the members of the Kearns and Denneny families. Solas na bhFlaitheas go raibh uirthí.

Active Age

The members of the Drumreilly Active Age Group wish to thank the Ballinamore, Fenagh, Aughnasheelin, Annaduff/Drumsna, Drumeela/Carrigallen, Mohill, Cloone/Aughavas, Killeshandra and Templeport Group members, and a number of non–group supporters for the support in adding to the success and enjoyment of the Drumreilly Social on Tuesday of last week in Drumreilly Community Centre. There will not be a meeting on this Wednesday February 27th as a numbers of our members will be taking part in a Bowling session in Carrick-on-Shannon. The next weekly meeting will be on Wednesday March 6th.

Recalling February 1993

The following members of the Anne Prior S.D. were among the medal winners at a C. R.N. Feis: Catherine, Fee, Amanda Looby, Mary McKeon, Marian Mulligan, Rachel Kennedy, Linda, Jennifer and Caroline O’Reilly and Karl McCartin. Goalkeeper Martin McCartin, defender Aidan Holahan and midfielder Pat Connolly played a big part in Leitrim’s Hastings Cup defeat of Sligo. Drumreilly team of Gene Connolly, Christopher Mimna, Denis Smith, Seán Mitchell, Thomas Connolly (4pts.), Pádraig Lunney (pt.), Connell McGovern (pt.), Oliver Maguire (2gls.), Noel McGirl (1-2). Sub: Ciaran Holahan scored a 3-8 to 1-1 win over Bornacoola.
