Defibrillator group

Defibrillator group

The Annaduff/Drumsna Defibrillator Group have recently joined forces with the Jamestown Defib Group and will now be known as Drumsna/Annaduff/Jamestown Defibrillator Group. We hope to hold a CPR & AED training session on 02/03/13 (approx 3 hrs) in Drumsna for people who wish to be trained in the use of an AED and CPR. Please ring or text 086 2639759 to book your place as we can only accommodate 10 people per session. Defibrillators are located at Killyfad Derrycarne, Coolecrieve Drumsna, Annaduff GAA Pitch, Drumsna Resource Centre and Jamestown Church. We look forward to meeting new members and remember this is your Community too.

International World Day of Prayer

The International World day of Prayer Service this year takes place in The Church of The Immaculate Conception Drumsna on Friday next March 1st at 8 pm. The Host Country for 2013 is France. There will be a reception afterwards in the Community Centre, Quay Street.


Bingo continues in Drumsna Community Centre on Thursday night at 8.30 p.m.


Pilates in Annaduff N.S. on Tuesday nights for beginners at 8 15 p.m. and Intermediates at 9.15 p.m.

St. Mary’s Church

Please note change of Masses while St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff is being refurbished as follows: Masses will now be celebrated in Drumsna Church: Monday evening 7 p.m. followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 8 p.m. Holy Hour Duty: Bridgie Dolan, Bernie Dockery, Ellen Moran, Geraldine Bohan: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9 a.m. Friday (First Friday) 9 a.m. Saturday evening Vigil Mass 7 p.m. in Drumsna and the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass will be celebrated in Annaduff N.S. The sick and housebound will be visited on Friday as usual. Readers and Ministers for Annaduff will continue to take part at the Vigil Mass in Drumsna on Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Golden Age

Operation Transformation

This is a great opportunity for people to get fit - meet friends - get healthy and have some fun. We have a packed agenda each week for the ladies and gents if they wish to take part. Mondays weigh in and exercise classes. Tuesdays group walk for all interested. Thursdays - Sumba. Fridays - ceile dancing and Sundays group walk for all. We will also have professional people coming to give talks. You don t have to do everything you suit yourself. We will be starting on Monday 11th March in Annaduff Community Center. If you are interested please contact your previous team leader or Mary on 087 6427585 by next Sunday 3rd March as we need to get teams organised.


A Meeting of the I.C.A. will be held on Monday next 4th March at 8 p.m. Evelyn Farrelly will give a talk on bone health. Everyone is welcome. The monthly bowling outing is on again this Thursday, 28th February in Mulvey’s Bowling Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon at 7 p.m. For numbers attending contact Marianne at 087-9439776. All are welcome.


The Parish and G.A.A.Lotto took place in Cox’s Steakhouse, Dromod on Sunday. The winning numbers were 4, 11, 16, 21. There was no jackpot winner. The following were our prize winners. €50 was won by Aidan Doyle, Taish, Drumsna. €25 prizes were won by: Betty Harte, Aughamore, Niamh Burke, Kilmore, Kyla Faughnan, Corduff, Niall Lyons, Dromod. Congratulations to our winners. Thanks to T.P. and Eileen for hosting the draw. The next Lotto Draw will be held in McLoughlin’s, Drumsna on Sunday, 10th March with a jackpot of €4,000.

Every Man Group

Starts Tuesday, 12th March from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday for 8 weeks at a cost of €10. This programme aimed at men who are interested in maximising their employability and developing new skills as well as enhancing their existing ones. For further information cal 071-9622566.
