‘Jumping the Border’ book launch in Ballinaglera
‘Jumping the Border, Memories from the Fermanagh/Cavan/Leitrim Border areas’ Book will be launched today Wednesday (27th February) by Charlie McGettigan, singer/songwriter and broadcaster. This book is a collection of reminiscences from the Old Mill Club, Killesher, Boho Senior Citizens and Ballinaglera Social Services groups, Boho Senior Citizens and the Old Mill Club, Killesher. Drumshanbo Town and Festivals booklet
A Drumshanbo town and festivals booklet is currently being created. This 26 page booklet will highlight all Drumshanbo has to offer by way of festivals and events, local tourist attractions, businesses and accommodation providers. The booklet won’t be year specific and will be distributed far and wide. The aim of the booklet is to be a one-stop-shop for tourists coming to our wonderful town. National Tree Week at Ardcarne Plantsplus
Free information session on bare root trees, hedging and fruit on Saturday 2nd March from 11.30am-12.30pm at Ardcarne Boyle and Ardcarne Roscommon Town. Get all the advice you need and tips on planting. National Tree Week runs from March 3rd to March 10th and is a fantastic reminder of the benefits of trees in our local environment and a great opportunity to plant some more trees large or small and continue enhancing your locality.
