Book Launch & Signing
Best wishes to Inez McPadden who has just published a new book titled “ My Angels and Me”. Inez will be launching and signing her new book in Mulvey’s, Main St, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, March 9th at 4.00pm. Hope to see many locals there to support Inez in her new venture.
GAA
A mixed weekend for the local GAA Club, the Intermediate team going down by a goal to Glencar Manor’s second team while the minors came away with a narrow victory over Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher. A club meeting will be held tonight (Wednesday) in the Handball Alley at 9.00pm.
Darts
Round 3 of the Town League will take place next Sunday night in Davitt’s at 8.30pm. The winner of the first heat was Adrian Smith.
PLC Centre
Lough Allen PLC Centre, on the Manorhamilton Road, is hosting a coffee morning on tomorrow Thursday, February 28th from 11.00am to 12.00midday. Come and meet the current students and learn about the exciting opportunities that are available. Everyone is welcome.
North Leitrim Women’s Centre
Line Dancing: Get those feet a tapping! Classes start Tuesday, 5th March 7.30-8.30 The Women’s Centre. 6 weeks cost €30. Flower Arranging: Wednesday 6th March 7pm-9pm cost €20. Bread and Fish Cooking Wednesday, 6th March 11am-1pm. Cost €5. Places will be limited so book you place early to avoid disappointment.
