National Spring Clean

The Committee and Co-ordinator, Mary Crerar, would like to extend their deep gratitude to all Village Folk who made an extreme effort to clean up in and around the Village this past Friday and Saturday the 12th and 13th April. Not to be forgotten are the pupils of Drumeela Junior School who picked up three bags of litter within an hour during their school break on the Friday. The weather was not on our side, more so the Saturday afternoon. It was inspiring to see folk take their own time out on Saturday to clean up. All in all , 27 litter bags of rubbish were collected and 11 wheelbarrow loads of builders rubble removed from various unsightly places.
