Heritage Showcase event in Carrick
Carrick-on-Shannon Heritage Group Ltd. present Heritage Showcase Event on Saturday, 27th April in the Town Park, Carrick-on-Shannon (the park opposite The Dock). Gates open to public 10.30am - 17.30pm. Workshops, Demonstrations, Entertainment, Stalls, Face painting, Bouncing Castles and much much more. Fun for all the family. Also there is a dog show and dog show craft skills on the day. Entries taken on the day. Baking Competition in association with the I.C.A. being ran on the day. There is a variety of different baking classes. Help protect your children online
The New Ballagh Centre, Rossinver, is pleased to announce that it will be running a short course/presentation over two Thursday evenings (25th April and 2nd May) about Internet Security. This presentation will be of particular interest to parents of school-age children. The cost will be €10 and will cover refreshments. Places are limited to a maximum of twelve participants. Ileostomy, Colostomy & Internal Pouch Support Group for Ireland
The Ileostomy, Colostomy & Internal Pouch Support Group will hold their Spring Meeting on Saturday, 27th April, in the Sligo Park Hotel, Pearse Road, Sligo, from 12.30 - 4.30 pm. Speakers are Mr. Tim O’Hanrahan, Consultant Surgeon & Ms. Susan Moore, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Stoma Care, Sligo General Hospital. Stoma Care Companies will Exhibit from 12.30-2.00 pm. Teddy Bear Bawnboy Loop Hike
Free Family Event on the 12th of May at 3pm leaving outside of Bawnboy, Co Cavan (On Main Road at Information Panel). Bring your teddy bear (children and adults). Moderate (4.5km) walk suitable just for off-road buggies. The Walking Festival is supported by Cavan Sports Partnership.
