Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna at the new time of 9pm. Last week’s winners included Mel Rowley, Liz Carroll, Geraldine Monaghan. Raffle Ann Beirne x 2, Eileen O’Brien. Free books Mel Rowley, Rose Mulvihill.

G.A.A./Parish Lotto

There was no winner of theG.A.A./ Parish Lotto which took place in Taylor’s Drumsna on Sunday night April 21st. The numbers drawn were 13, 15, 17, 22. The winner of the €50 prize was Enda Mc Keon, Aughacashel. The winners of the lucky dip are as follows Marion Casserly, Thomas Faughnan Corduff, Bernie Kenny, Ursula Gaffney.

The Jackpot is now €4,500. The next draw is in McLoughlin’s Drumsna on May 5th. Thanks is extended to all our hosts and supporters.

Art classes

Art classes are commencing in the Community Centre Drumsna on Saturday May 11th for 4 to 7 year olds 11am until 1pm. 8 to 12yrs 2pm until 4pm. Booking essential family rates apply contact 086 4075183 or 086 3903221.

Drumsna Foroige

Drumsna foroige club are doing a 5km walk in aid of CROI (fighting heart disease and stroke) on Wed April 24th commencing at 7.30pm. All welcome to walk. Light refreshments served afterwards.

Diabetes Ireland

The Leitrim Branch of Diabetes are holding their Annual Sponsored walk on Sunday May 12th from St Mary’s Church Annaduff. Refreshments afterwards in the G.A.A. Community Cenre Annaduff. For sponsorship cards call J.J. 087 6812765, Patricia 087 2238242, T.P. 087 4083541.


His Lordship Bishop Colm O’ Reilly will be administering the Sacrament of Confirmation to the children of Annaduff in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna on Saturday May 4th at 2pm. There will be a general clean up of the church on Tuesday April 30th at 7pm.

All help will be gratefully received. Help will also be needed with the moving of chairs from the Community Centre on Friday May 3rd at 4pm also the moving of various other heavy items in the Church. Bunting and flags will also be put up.

If you can assist on either of these your help will be very welcome. The younger children of the Parish will receive First Holy Communion in Drumsna Church on the following Saturday May 11th.

Golden Age meeting

There will be a Golden age meeting on Thursday morning at 11am in the centre Drumsna. Note change of day to Thursday.

Employer based training or EBT is a 12 month funded programme which can help you improve your skills and secure employment.
