All roads lead to Ballinamore for Fleadh Cheoil Chondae Liatroma at the weekend .Entries have been rolling in from all Comhaltas branches in the county - a great sign of the growing interest in traditional music, song and dance. A huge amount of credit is due to all the teachers throughout the county involved in the passing on of the traditional culture to the younger generation. This year sees a renewed interest in the harp and as one of the oldest instruments in the tradition, it is important to see younger people getting the opportunity to learn to play it. A huge interest in Sean Nós dance has also added a new dimension to Fleadhanna as well as Set dancing and Ceili Dancing.
