Used Clothes Collection

Used Clothes Collection

A used clothes collection is being held at St Joseph’s National School, Aughavas. Needed are clean and dry clothes, curtains, bed linen, towels, shoes, belts and blankets. This collection will take place from Monday 22 April to Tuesday 7 May and bags can be dropped into the school between 9am-3pm on school days. Cash for Clobber bags are available at McCaffrey’s Bar/Grocery Aughavas. Your support would be appreciated.

Oil Painting Classes

Oil Painting Classes continue every Monday night in Teach Dúchais, Drumeela. Beginners and improvers welcome. For futher information contact 087 2787139.

Cloone/Aughavas Community Playschool

We are now taking bookings for September 2013 for children who are age 2 years and 10 months on 1 September 2013. We are also providing places under the ECCE Scheme, if your child is going to school in September 2013 and born between 2 February 2009 and 30 June 2010, they are entitled to avail of the FREE Pre-School Year. Aughavas ICA monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday 1 May at 8pm in the Community Centre.

Aughavas-Corroneary Group Water Scheme

A meeting of the Aughavas-Corroneary Group Water Scheme will take place in the Club rooms next Monday night 29 April at 8.30 pm.
