Congratulations to all the boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion from St. Mary’s, Ardvarney and St. Joseph’s, Killenummery on Saturday.

Thanks to all who were involved with the children’s choir, the teachers, those who prepared the tea in the Hall. Well done to everyone.

Mass Rock

Tullynascreena Mass Rock Mass will take place on Sunday, 26th May at 3pm. This Mass will replace the 10am Mass in St. Michael’s that morning.

We encourage as many people as possible to come along to this Mass, as we are celebrating something very important from the past, namely the faith practised in very different and Penal times.

Exam Mass

A Special Exam Mass for all Leaving and Junior Cert students will take place on Wednesday, May 29th at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s, Ballinagar. All students from this Parish and outside the Parish are welcome to attend this special Mass.

Breffni ICA Guild

AGM takes place at our May meeting on May 13th at 7.30pm in Killenummery Hall. New members welcome. Guest speaker’s topic: Homeopathy.

Irish Night

Moran’s Lounge, Ballintogher, Tuesday, 7th May at 9pm. Caint is Comhra, Ceol & Craic. Bring a friend to chat, play, sing, dance or tell a story, join the fun. All welcome. Failte roimh gach einne.

Fundraising concert for local school

St. Therese’s National School are hosting a fundraising concert with Sandy Kelly & friends featuring Rockhouse Pilfer. It is on in Castle Dargan on Friday, 28th June. Tickets cost €15 each.

Tickets will be on sale after Mass on Saturday, 27th April and Saturday, 4th May in St. Mary’s Church, Ballinagar and Sunday, 28th April and Sunday, 5th May in St. Therese’s Church, Ballintogher.
