Mohill Library are running three workshops in relation to the Bealtaine Festival: Wednesday, 15th May at 3pm – “Sole Stories” with Susie Mento. Wednesday, 22nd May at 3pm – Teresa Gilmartin will run an Introduction to Holistic Therapy. Wednesday, 29th May at 3pm – Carmel Mulvey, Senior Community Dietitian will give a talk. All the events are free and all are welcome!
Leitrim’s Youth Factor
Can you sing, dance, play music or act? Would you like to take part in Leitrim’s Youth Factor? North Connaught Youth & Community Services are calling on all their Youth Café and Club members who would like the opportunity to show off their talents in Leitrim’s Youth Factor. Fianna Fail church gate colllection
The annual Fianna Fail church gate collection will take place at Mohill Church this Saturday and Sunday. Your continued support would be greatly appreciated.

Coding For Kids For Free
We are setting up a free Coading For Kids classes in Ballinamore. Coading is a way you build websites, computer games and apps. It is very useful for kids and adults alike. Coder Dojo is the organisation world wide who want to teach kids to code for free. All the information is here at www.coderdojo.com. There are over fifty Coderdjojos in Ireland. Today we need adults and kids to email us to see if we have enough interest. We intend to have one every Saturday for one or two hours. This is open to all kids in the Leitrim, Cavan, Longford and Fermanagh areas. Please email email@example.com if you want to help or if you’re interested in joining. Cairde Liatroim is holding a fundraising dance in aid of people with special needs with T.R Dallas, Mickey Clerkin and Sean McAloon in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon on this Thursday May 9th at 8pm. Cairde Leitrim is a social club which supplies support for people with special needs. Your attendance would be appreciated. “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.

Mohill GAA Lotto
The numbers drawn on April 29th were 2, 11, 13, 30. There was no jackpot winner. Last weekend’s very successful Percy French Party was a great success thanks to the hard work of Tish Dunleavy, Frank Cadam and their team of workers. Every night we were treated to great entertainment, some home grown, some from the County Down. We now look forward to the Mohill GAA Gathering on the June Bank Holiday Weekend. All past players at home and aboard have been contacted. Hopefully we will have included everyone. We will also entertain a team from Manchester- no, not United- but better again St. Lawrences’s from that great city. There will be underage and overage football, fun racing and fun football, a buffett in J’s Hotel. Then finally on Sunday evening, there will be a Vareity Concert hosted by own Katherine Lynch. The Concert will include local singers Edel Palmer, Ronan Gallagher and Katherine. Hip Hop dancing, Irish dancing and drama by the local Acorn and Junior Acorn Players.
Social Dancing this Thursday night May 9th in J’s Hotel. Come and dance your cares away to the music of Curtis McGee. Doors open at 9:30pm. Licenced bar. Door raffle. Refreshments served. Come and enjoy.

Church Gate Collection: A big thank you to all who contributed so generously to our annual church gate collection which was held at all Masses recently. The committee and parents are very grateful to all who have donated to our Atheltic Club. We will now be in a position to purchase some equipment for our juvenile athletes. Also thank you to all who volunteered themselves to help out on the collections on both days. Training now on Monday 6-7pm and Friday 4:53- 5:30pm at GAA Grounds. We would like to add our best wishes to the many received by Tom Duignan, Cloonboneigh, Mohill who has retired after forty years with the ESB where he was held in the highest esteem by colleagues and customers alike. We wish Tom, his dear wife and family many happy years together to be enjoyed in good health and every blessing.
