Gortletteragh Community Playgroup

Gortletteragh Community Playgroup is now taking enrolments for September 2013. We cater for children from 2 years 6 months up to 5 years. We are also providing places under the ECCE scheme. If your child is starting primary school in 2014 and born between 02.02.2009 to 30.06.2010 they are entitled to avail of the free preschool year. To enrol your child please call into the playgroup or contact the playgroup leader, Josephine Dorrigan on 087-9958197.

Births

Congratulations to Gavin and Caroline Mitchell on the birth of baby girl Carla Mae. A beautiful sister for Rebecca and Eoghan.

Deaths

We extend our deepest sympathy to Rose Gormley, Farnaught on the recent death of her sister Annie Keegan, Colehill, Longford. Her funeral took place on Sunday last. May she rest in peace.

Church Gate Collection

Thanks to all who contributed to the collection after mass in Cornageeha in aid Cancer Care. The total was €161.02. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Vintage Tractor Run

A Vintage Tractor Fun Run will be held on Sunday, May 19th starting at the Welcome Inn, Cornageeha and will travel to Tooman, Ruskey, Drumsna and Mohill. Registration between 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. at the Welcome Inn. Refreshments served on registration with lunch (included) in Mohill.

Entry fee is €20 per tractor. Finisher Awards for all registered entrants.

Death

The death has taken place in Connecticut, USA of Tommy Foley, formerly of Farnaught.

We tender sympathy with his wife Mary, sons Sean and Kevin, daughter Brenda, sister Bridget, and brothers Jim, John Joe and Michael Francis. May he rest in peace.
