The last beginners spin will take place on Saturday February 2nd at 2.00pm from the Boys National School Abbeytown Boyle. It is a new members/beginners spin for all those interested in joining the club and taking up cycling. It will be 10km / 12km spin at a relaxed pace so all those interested in starting cycling are encouraged to come along. Helmets are essential for all cyclists.

The training programme designed for Boyle is called Excelling at Customer Service – Going the Extra Mile is scheduled for Monday February 11th. The programme is suitable for all staff dealing with the public, it is very inter – active and enjoyable. Training will be delivered twice 1st session in the morning at 10am until 1pm and second session in the afternoon at 2pm until 5pm. Now offering a Irish based programme that benefits students experiencing literacy difficulties. The programme is named Typeshands and is designed to develop literacy and typing skills in students. GAA 2013 Dinner Dance
Preparations are well advanced for the joint Men’s’ Club and Ladies’ Club Dinner Dance which will be held in Kilronan Castle Hotel on Saturday 9th February. The special guest will be a current All Star player. Medals will be presented on the night to the County Junior A Title winning ladies team and to the Boyle Minors who were runners-up in the County Division 1 Championship. The annual player of the year, club person of the year and the Hall of Fame awards will also be presented on the night. Tickets, at the veryreasonable price of €35 are available from 10 persons representing both clubs. Those wishing to attend are advised to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment as places are limited.
