Upcoming Events in Corn Mill Theatre

Big Guerilla Productions present Sand Park by Seamus O’Rourke on Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 and Friday 15 February 2013.

The Sand Park is the sometimes hilarious account of how James Anthony Lowery, a man in his mid

fifties, came to terms with the death of his son, fifteen years ago and now more recently, his wife

Rose. It’s a play about rural Irish life and the way we cope with the inevitable, it’s a play about how life and death and humour and love and sadness all live in the same house together… and then a strange thing happens…

The Corn Mill Theatre Group present a comedy Brothers of the Brush by Jimmy Murphy and directed by Seán McIntyre on Friday 22, Saturday 23 & Friday 28 February and Friday 1 & Saturday 2 March 2013.

Brothers of the Brush tells how housepainters, patching over the cracks of an old house, misuse each other for their own advantage. In a world blighted by economic recession, with workers losing faith in old ideologies, Brothers of the Brush demonstrates just how fragile allegiances are when personal interests are at stake.

The Co Leitrim ‘Sweet Spirit Country & Gospel Choir’ based in Mohill and under the musical direction of Tish Dunleavy will be staging their show in the Corn Mill Theatre, Carrigallen on Friday night 12 April 2013. Proceeds from this show will be donated to the two very deserving organisations - Leitrim based ‘Stop Suicide’ and Leitrim Multiple Sclerosis. Keep Friday 12 April 2013 free to come along and support the work of these two great organisations while at the same time enjoying this great singing group.

Booking at 04943 39612 or Doors open at 8:00pm and shows start at 8:30pm.
