Keadue Tidy Towns are holding a Table Quiz on Friday 1st February in Roddy’s Harp & Shamrock, Keadue starting at 9.30pm. Quiz master on the
night will be John Lynch from Shannonside Radio. Table of 4 €20 and 1st
prize is dinner for four in Kilronan Castle. Everyone welcome.
Weekend Masses: 10am, Keadue, Monday, Arigna, Tuesday and Wednesday, Ballyfarnon, Thursday and Friday. Weekend Masses: Saturday Vigil Keadue 7pm and Ballyfarnon 8:30pm, Arigna 10.30am and Keadue 12 noon. Confessions after Vigil Masses.

The “Do This in Memory” programme due to take on place Sunday 27th will now take place on next Sunday February 3rd at the 12 noon Mass in Keadue.

St. Ronan’s Lotto
There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot when the draw was held last weekend. The numbers drawn were 3, 9, 22, 25. Consolation prizes were won by the following: €70, Jackie Costello, Keadue, €30 Padraig Flynn, Knockvicar, €15 each Niall and Vera Gaffney, Arigna, Claire Malone, Ballyfarnon, Frankie McKiernan, Derrennasoo. The jackpot this week will be €6,100 and the draw will be held in the Miners Bar, Arigna.
Collection for Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place on Saturday/Sunday 2nd/3rd outside Keadue and Arigna Churches and inside Ballyfarnon Church. (No permit as it is in a different Garda district).
Anyone from the parish who is planning to get married in any of the churches of the parish in 2013 or 2014 should book as soon as possible so that they will be able to get the date of their choice. There are 21 weddings booked for 2013 and 5 for 2014.
Garda Station closes
Ballyfarnon Garda Station will close on January 31st 2013.
St. Ronan’s GAA
If anyone is interested in completing the defibrillator course, they are asked to contact John O’Connor as soon as possible. Training for under 6 and under 8 players will be commencing shortly. Any young volunteers who would be intersted in helping out at this level are asked to contact Declan Killoran. A reminder to all underage players up to and including minors that mouth guards have to be worn during all underage games this year. St. Ronan’s club expresses its sympathy to the families of Michael Hennesy, Keadue and John T. Flynn, Arigna.
Fun Run/Walk a big success
The recent Fun/Run Walk organised by Keadue Tidy Towns proved to be a big success with upwards of one hundred people taking part. The committee would like to thank all those who participated, the big number of stewards on duty, Garda Katrina, the Civil Defence, the ladies who provided refreshments and the sponsors.
Arrangements for the Table Quiz organised by Keadue Tidy Towns on Friday, February 1st are almost complete. The Quiz will take place in Roddy’s, Harp and Shamrock and will start at 9:30pm. Table of 4 E20. 1st prize dinner for four in Kilronan Castle. Raffle on the night. Everyone welcome.
