Free Digital Library

Free Digital Library

It’s all digital things these days! The library is no different! You may not be aware that Leitrim County Library offers a free digital library to its members. Membership of the library is free too! All you need is an eBook reader or a laptop or a computer or a smart phone. Unfortunately this service will not work with the popular Kindle yet but the library service expects it will in the future and say negotiations are ongoing with Kindle.

You can access the eBook service which has both eBooks and audio books at the library website at www.leitrimlibrary.ie and click digital library on the left hand side of the page. If you click the Getting Started link there are useful instructions here on how to download your books etc. This is a great service if you can not get to the library or are on holidays and like a good read by the pool. The library has added sixty new titles recently.
