This production has been supported by the National Association of Youth Drama through its New Stage programme, for more information see www.nayd.ie This short play is set in a futuristic but desolate land. The adults are gone and the children are running this barren place. But all is not well.
They have forgotten how they got here and even how long they’ve been here. They have divided themselves into four groups, the Learners, the Scavengers, the Mechanics and the Healers. They all want to be the leaders and it is left to Niamh, the messenger to liaise between the feuding groups. She doesn’t want to tell lies, well maybe just a little white one! Oisin and Niamh know it’s time to get off the Island, but will the others listen?
