Opel Kit For Clubs

Opel Kit For Clubs

Aodh Ruadh would like to extend their thanks to Herron Auto in Donegal town and Opel who have provided the club with free gear. Aodh Ruadh’s Michael McNeely, Callum O’Halloran, Gregory Sweeney and David McGurrin are pictured on receiving the gear from a representative of Herron Auto.

Helping hands

Aodh Ruadh are putting together a panel which would be available to help out in various capacities around the club. A small group take on many of the jobs that need done, but there are often those who would like to help out, but who can only do so on a sporadic basis. The jobs we need relief help on include bingo, lotto, taking the gate at matches, helping with refreshments and the like. A few hours here and there would really help spread the load and relieve the burden which currently falls very heavily on a few people. Anyone who might have an hour or two to spare here or there and who would be interested in helping rebuild their club is invited to e-mail club secretary Emma Gaughan at or text her on 0863039610 to be included on the panel.

Gaeltacht Grants

CLG Dhún na nGall will be awarding four grants of €300 to club members who complete Gaeltacht Summer courses in 2013. Written applications can be submitted through your own club secretary to Con Ó Domhnaill, Eleven Ballyboes, Greencastle or via email not later than Tuesday 30th April. Application forms are obtained by e-mailing Emma Gaughan at
