Golden Age Meeting

Golden Age Meeting on to-day Wednesday April 10th in the Drumsna Centre at 11am. Please bring your scripts for Bealtaine. The group were delighted to welcome back Michael John Faughnan after his recent spell in hospital. Michael John wishes to thank everyone who phoned, called, sent mass cards, prayers, relics and good wishes to him during this time.


Bingo continues at 8 30pm on Thursday night in the Centre Drumsna. Last week’s winners included Niamh Flanagan, Patricia Beirne. Raffle Carol O’Dowd, Maura Bohan. Free Books Roseleen Lynch, Marie Browne.

Tidy Towns Meeting

There will be a Tidy Towns meeting in the Centre Drumsna at 8pm on tonight Wednesday at 8pm.

Painting Classes

Adult painting classes with Noreen Gaffney will commence in the Centre Drumsna on Tuesday, April 16th from 8pm until 10pm. To register or for further information contact Martina at 96 25782.

G.A.A./Parish Lotto

There was no winner of the G.A.A./Parish Lotto held in Cox’s Steakhouse, Dromod on Sunday night last. The winner of the €50 prize was Patricia O’Reilly, The winners of the lucky dip are as follows: Damian Moylan, Drumsna, Mattie Cox, Annaduff, John Dowling, Dromod, Tim Shanley, Newtownforbes. The next draw is in Taylor’s pub, Drumsna on April 21st with a jackpot of €4,300.

“For Club And County”

Parents of the Dangan National School Bus are proud to present “For Club And County”, the hilarious new play by Seamus O’Rourke, on Saturday, 12th April at 8pm in Dangan Community Centre. Admission €10. Tickets on sale locally in Oasis Heath Shop, Carrick, P. Flynn’s, Dangan, The Arch Bar, Jamestown and Duignan’s Shop, Drumsna Your support would be greatly appreciated.


Drumsna Foroige Club and their Leaders wish to thank everyone who made the cake sale on Easter Sunday such a huge success. Thanks is extended to all those who baked, donated and bought items. The proceeds will go to towards funding activities and trips for the club.
