Millennium Choir Concert

Millennium Choir Concert

You are invited to attend this annual treat in our beautiful St Patrick’s Church, Mohill on Thursday next 21st at 8.00pm. It features the Magnificent Millennium Choir and Orchestra led by Fintan Farrelly, Local Soloists, and St. Manchan’s Children’s Choir. Tickets at €12 and €10 concession are for sale in Baxter’s Supermarket or Paul’s. Patrons can also pay on the night. For those who can’t attend at the Mohill venue, there will be a repeat performance in St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon the following night 22nd. You just can’t afford to miss it.

Gardening & Art Classes

There will be a set of 5 Gardening classes starting Wednesday, March 20th 7.30-9.30pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre. Also Art classes (oil painting) with Noreen Gaffney will also commence sometime in March/April (details not yet finalised) - please call 071 9645590 to register your name and for further info. Classes will go ahead if sufficient numbers.

Bereavement

The death took place on March 10th of Kathleen Tiernan, Tulcon. Removal of her remains took place from her residence to St. Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh. Following her concelebrated funeral mass, she was laid to rest in Farnaught cemetery. We tender deepest sympathy to her daughter Claire, sons Pauric, Vincent, Noel and Joe, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends. May she Rest In Peace.

Births

Congrats to Ciaran and Deirdre McNulty, Cornageeha on the birth of their baby girl Mischa, a beautiful sister for Cian, Noah and Ultan. And to Ciaran and Jennifer Gilmartin, Cattan on the birth of their lovely baby boy Tommy, a brother for Emma and Leah. We wish both families every health and happiness.
