Recent death

The death occurred on Sunday last of Paddy Joe Farrell, formerly of Casteragh House but who spent the last number of years residing in O’Carolan House, Mohill. Paddy Joe died in Sligo hospital following a short illness. His remains were removed to St, Patrick’s Church, Gowel and he was interred in Kiltoghert graveyard. To his sister Marie McHugh, Dowra, his brother-in-law Noel, brothers Ted and John James, nephews and nieces, cousins and extended family we extend our deepest symapthy. May he rest in peace.

Kiltoghert Women’s Group

Kiltoghert Women’s Group have Ursula Connolly who gives a presentation on Feng-shui on this Wednesday night at 8.30pm. Feng shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure health and good fortune for people inhabiting it. All are welcome and it should be interesting.

Engagement

Congratulations to Adrian Gill, Corramartin, son of Joe and Noeleen, who got engaged to Alison Lawson, Drumfin, Sligo recently. We wish them both health and happiness in the future

Parent and Toddler Playgroup

Kiltoghert Parent and Toddler Playgroup meet every Wednesday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm in Kiltoghert Community Centre. Parents and children are invited to come over to play have fun and chat. Different activities take place each week for both child and mother and for more information contact Alena on 087 7503570.
