Congratulations to the Four Masters National School 5th and 6th Classes Boys Athletics Team who have qualified for the All-Ireland Athletic Championship Final.

Community Garden/Allotments

It’s that time of year again, so why not try and grow your own vegetables in the lovely environment of Lough Melvin Eco Park. There is still a few allotments available at €20.00 per allotment. So please contact Pat at 087 2643304 asap to avoid disappointment.

Fundraiser in aid of STOP

STOP suicide is holding a Bowling tournament in kidz kingdom & bowling. Looking for teams. Teams of 4 are €50 prizes are 1st €250, 2nd €100 please support this worthy cause call 071 9621605 for more information.

Whist Drive Breesy Centre

The next, and last for the season, Whist Drive will be held in The Breesy Centre, Cashelard on Wed. 27th March at 8pm. All welcome.

Easter Cake Sale

Easter Sunday in the Depot Dromahair on 31st March, 12 noon - 2pm. Come along and get yourself an Easter Treat, Easter Cakes, Cup Cakes, Tarts.....Your support would be very much appreciated. If you would like to Donate baked items, items for prizes, they can be dropped into the Depot from 10am on the morning of Sale. Also draw on day for numerous prizes.

Competition Time

Pre-School Children: Paint the poster competition. Posters available in local shops. Junior, senior, 1st & 2nd Class: Paint the egg competition. (Please ensure egg is hard boiled prior to decorating. 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class: Create an Easter Bonnet and wear it on the day. One entry per child. Proceeds for the Upkeep of the 4 AED units - Dromahair, Ballinagar, Newtownmanor & Kilcoosey.

Tribal Body Fitness

Progressive circuit classes continue in Kinlough Community Centre every Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10am (level1) and 11am (level 2). All welcome to come and join in. €5 per class. Contact Gareth 087 7989876 for more information.

Celebrate Easter at Dawn

The Parish of Killenummery and Killery invites you to celebrate Easter with a Dawn Mass at Creevelea Abbey. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Creevelea Abbey at 6am on Easter Sunday morning. It will be the first time that a Dawn Mass has been celebrated at the Abbey in recent memory.

Askill Whist Drive

There will be no whist drive in Askill community on 17th March (St Patricks Day). Results from the last whist held on Sunday 10th March, 2013 were Mary McNelis, Kathleen Burns, Isobel Fox, Brian Richardson, Michael Donagher, Ellen Ward, Gerry Burns. Raffle Winners were Ellen Ward, Anna Corrigan, Mary McNelis and Mabel McNulty. Next Whist will be Sunday, 24th March.

Fundraising Cake Sale

A fundraising cake sale will be held on Sunday March 24th after 11am Mass in aid of Kinlough Pre-school.

Four Masters NS Enrolment

The Benwiskin Centre

Boot Camp: Boot Camp in The Benwiskin Centre also starting on a Tues eve 6.30-7.30pm Contact us for details on 071 9176721. Glass Mosaic Evening Classes: Create your own unique artworks in this introduction to fused glass. You will be able to make coloured glass mosaic pendants, brooches, and a glass panel which you can transform into a plate in the kiln. All items made during the workshop are yours to keep. Louise Rice, an experienced instructor, will demonstrate each step and guide you through the process. Open to all. No experience required. Classes commence Wed night, late March (Date TBC) 7pm - 8.30pm for 3 weeks. Contact us on 071 9176721 for further details and booking form.
