Leitrim Livecraft Creative Training Programme
Leitrim Livecraft is a Leitrim Development Company project developed under the Rural Development Leader Programme. It a unique training programme implemented by the Leitrim Design House in association with the Leitrim Sculpture Centre. It is a creative training programme supporting economic activity in County Leitrim. Livecraft aims to re-energise and expand the possibilities of the craft sector in County Leitrim as a contribution to economic regeneration and sustainable growth by drawing on the County and all it has to offer. Eco-Building On A Shoestring
Architect/teacher/writer and Leitrim resident Peter Cowman is back in the country fresh from his Australian sojourn. For the past several weeks he’s been delivering Talks & Workshops as part of The Sheltermaker Tour which included the launch of his Sheltermaker’s Manual in Co. Tipperary on Friday last. He will be speaking at the Community Centre in Leitrim Village on Thursday night at 8pm on the subject of ‘Eco-Building On A Shoestring’. The talk will be followed by ‘teas, biscuits and tunes’! Proceeds from the talk be donated to the Irish no fracking campaign.v
