Irish Classes

Blotto Draw

The next Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns Blotto Draw will take place in The Clubhouse on Saturday the 23rd March 2013. The jackpot will be €2,100. Tickets available in all local businesses so why not try your luck.

Easter Cake Sale

Easter Cake Sale in The Depot, Dromahair on Easter Sunday the 31st March 12 noon – 2 p.m. Come and get yourself an Easter treat. Get your Easter cakes, cup cakes, tarts…… Your support would be very much appreciated. If you would like to donate baked items they can be dropped into The Depot from 10a.m. Paint the poster competition for pre-school children (poster available in local shops). Paint the egg competition for children in Junior, Senior, 1st and 2nd class. Create an Easter Bonnet for children in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class. Proceeds for the upkeep of the 4 AED units – Dromahair, Ballinagar, Newtownmanor & Kilcoosey.

Gospel Choir

Gospel Choir Virginia, Co. Cavan performing a wonderful concert in St. Mary’s Church, Killenummery (Ballinagar) Dromahair, Co. Leitrim on Palm Sunday March 24th at 7p.m. This performance will mark the beginning of Holy Week, and will be a lovely start to the ceremonies during the holiest week of the year. The Gospel Choir from Virginia Co. Cavan performed on the all popular show “Ireland’s Got Talent” and did very well during the series. There will be a donation of one’s choice at the entrance to the performance, and all the proceeds will go directly to the Hospice in Sligo. The Hospice needs to raise much money every year, and this will be our contribution to this very worthy cause, as well as enjoying a great night’s entertainment. Please support this performance, and give what you can afford to the collection box for the Hospice in Sligo. All roads lead to St. Mary’s Church, Killenummery, Dromahair, Co. Cake Sale in the Depot

Drumlease National School Parents Association Cake Sale takes place in The Depot on Sunday the 21st of April, 2013 from 10a.m. to 1p.m. All donations welcome. Your support would be much appreciated. Proceeds in aid of Drumlease National School.

Community Games Swimming

The Manorhamilton Area Community Games swimming competition will be held on Friday 5th April 2013 in Sligo Regional Sports Complex. Registration will be between 4pm - 4.30pm, with the races starting from 4.50 pm sharp. There will be a number of different events for boys and girls spanning the U8 to U16 age groups. Competitors must live within the Manorhamilton Community Games area which includes Kiltyclogher, Glenfarne, Manorhamilton, Killargue, Dromahair, Newtownmanor, Glencar and Mullies. Two will qualify from each individual event and go on to represent their area at the County Finals which will be held at the Aura Leisure Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon, on 21st April.
