Stories Across the Border

Stories Across the Border

Stories Across the Border is a cross border project based around the villages of Glenfarne, Belcoo and Blacklion. We are bringing together a collection of very unique stories about this border area and we would like you to come along and take part. We would like to hear stories of childhood memories, the games people played, the types of work, family life, partition, road closures, the troubles, etc. These stories will then be recorded on to a cd for all the communities to enjoy. If you have a story to tell and would like to take part in this very unique project, please telephone: +44 (0) 44 28 686 59759/ 0791 3552046 or email: clodaghthink6@gmail.com

This project has been supported by the European Union’s PEACE III Programme, managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by Leitrim County Council by behalf of the County Leitrim PEACE III Partnership.
