Sliabh an Iarainn Group Water Scheme

Sliabh an Iarainn Group Water Scheme would like to remind all of its members that the annual standing charge of 70 euro per house and 25 euro per farm connection for 2012 is now due before 28th February 2013. Please note that the standing charge is for 2012 only as all meter charges have started from the 1st January 2013. Also any outstanding up-grading fees and connections fees are now long over due.

Payments can be made to Slaibh an Iarainn Group Water Scheme Co-op Ltd, either in AIB Ballinamore 93-70-37, a/c no 04197141 or to the Manager Kevin (087 9336631).

St Mary’s N.S. enrolment

St Mary’s N.S., Aughnasheelin are now taking enrolments for Sept 2013. Our enrolment day will take place on Friday, 8th February 2013, from 10am to 12noon. Please bring your child along to meet their new friends and participate in fun activities. The enrolment forms will be available at school from 08/02/2013. Church gate collection

A Church Gate Collection in aid of North West Hospice, will be held on 10th February. Your support would be greatly appreciated. (Permit granted).

Catechism of the Catholic Church

A certificate course in the catechism of the catholic church, awarded by the Maryvale Institute, will begin in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan on Thursday 14th February and in Manorhamilton on Wednesday, 20th February. This is a three year course consisting of 24 sessions per year. Certification is awarded by attendance and through the successful complention of an assignment at the end of each unit. Application forms are available from your local priest.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lough Derg

The original date for the diocesan pilgrimage to Lough Derg (one day retreat) has been changed. The new date is Tuesday 27th August. More details will follow. The full season guide for Lough Derg can be downloaded from

Whist Drive

The first whist drive of 2013 is on Thursday 7th February in the community centre Ballinamore at 8.30 pm sharp. Looking forward to seeing all the regulars and maybe some new faces on the night. Hall heated, tea and refreshments at half time and great prizes on the night. All welcome.

Community Centre Meeting
