The late Cyril Mulvey, Kiltoghert

It was great sadness we learned of the death of Cyril Mulvey on Wednesday last. Cyril lived life to the full and packed a lot into his life. Cyril was a family man first and foremost, a building contractor of the highest order, a keen fisherman an all round hunter and enjoyed a good game of golf. Cyril enjoyed Leitrim’s success in the nineties and travelled to games up and down the country. A carpenter by trade, Cyril always carried out his trade to a very high standard. His workshop would have supplied windows and doors for the local houses until the arrival of PVC. Cyril worked for the community and was part of the New Committee that was set up to look after Kiltoghert Graveyard.

To his heartbroken wife Marian, his daughter Paula, his sons Adrian, Alan and Anthony, his brothers Brian, Micheal and Joe, sisters Kay, Peggy, Rosemary and Bridie, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Cheryl, grandchildren Eilish and Cliodhna, mother-in-law Lily McWeeney. and his extended family we extend our deepest sympathy. May he rest in peace.
