Dromod Festival 5th May
3 weeks and counting and everything is coming together nicely. Fingers crossed the sun will be out again for the fourth year running. Previous cake sales have been brilliantly supported both by bakers and hungry tummies alike. We are again inviting all residents to bake some Cakes, Buns, Pies etc to sell on the day on behalf of Dromod Development. These can be left at Cox’s Steakhouse on Sat 4th May or before 12pm on the day at the marquee.
The Festival Committee would again appreciate the help from volunteers on the day. This will involve helping to supervise the different field activities, setting up tables, chairs and artwork in the marquee and also marshalling the fun run. We are still very interested to hear from any individuals, groups or organisations who could further add to the success of the day. Please contact us on email@example.com or by phone on 087 9972439.
Fundraising is now in progress and we hope that we will get the same generosity and support as have ion previous years. We look forward to your support and will keep you updated.

Draw in Division 1
Annaduff and St. Mary’s drew on a scoreline of 1-11 each in Carrick on Sunday. This was a much improved display from the Drumreilly match with the points shared probably a fair result. Annaduff had the advantage of a strong wind in the first half and led by 1-7 to 0- 5 after 28 minutes with Sean McNabola getting the goal in the 16th minute. Mary’s hit a purple patch at the end of the first half scoring a goal and a point in the 30th minute. The second half was typical Annaduff/Carrick with never more than two points between the teams. Annaduff led by 1-11 to 1-9 after 50 minutes however Mary’s got the last two points to earn a draw.
