LAPWD Memorial Event
In Memory of the late Howard Cusack and Sr. Emmanuel Farrelly, 5K walk and 2K Fun run, Walk and Roll on Sunday May 26th at 12.30pm. The event will be launched by Alan Devine (Louis) Fair City and dramaclub.ie and Andy McGovern, Author of “Against the Odds”. Entry Fee €10 and everybody welcome. Leitrim Birdwatch Walk
The Leitrim Branch of BirdWatch Ireland is going on a cuckoo-watching walk to Loughtown Lake, Effernagh, south Leitrim, on Sunday, April 21st at 10am. We meet at Garvey’s Garage, outside Drumsna, just off the R299, on the road to Keshcarrigan and Kilnagross. The walk should take about two hours - although a shorter version may be availed of if desired. Coffee and cake will be provided afterwards. Enquiries - please contact 071 9659970.
Swimming lessons in Drumshanbo
Adults one to one and childrens group and one to one swimming lessons commencing in the Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo. Childrens group lessons take place on a Tuesday evening and Saturday morning, €60 for 6 weeks, 8 children per class, 45 minutes per class. Adults and children’s one to one take place on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evening, €110 for 6 weeks, 45minute classes. Discount for more than 2 children per family. 4K and 10K Run/Walk in Manorhamilton
St. Clare’s Comprehensive, Manorhamilton host a 4K and 10K Run/Walk sponsored by Supervalu, Manorhamilton on Sunday, 21st April 12.30 p.m. Registration www.runireland.com or in the school gym on 21st April from 10.00am – 12 noon.
